They suffer from no issues with the heater for the first several years or more purchase costs are low and the heater rarely requires maintenance beyond the regular checkups. I purchased an eemax whole house electric water heater about five years ago and overall i am pretty happy with it. Like others have said single knob faucets are a bit more difficult to calibrate but at full water flow like showers or baths it delivers the heat.

I haven t had any experience with other brands to compare it with but its well built was easy to install and performs well.
